What
is the difference between a solid and double wall?
There is no comparison. They are different building systems. One of them will
be chosen, according to wood type and specific characteristics.
1
Can
wood houses catch on fire?
Wood is more easily flammable than masonry. Fire intensity will depend on its
cause. Remember: Wood does not spontaneously combust. Statistically, almost
all fires begin due to external factors: Natural Gas containers, for instance.

It will be more comfortable indoors. It depends on the house project. There
are specific projects for hot and cold regions.

Not all wood needs to be treated. Low natural durability wood, like pine, will
be treated via immersion or pressure. High natural durability wood, like Grapia
and Angelim do not need treating, but still need to be maintained.
4
Where
does the wood come from?
From the Brazilian states of Mato Grosso and Rondônia.
What type of criteria need to be followed in maintaining a wood house?
There are no criteria or rules. All houses, regardless of building system, need
to be maintained. Weather, climate and soil will determine conservation. We
recommend repainting with acrylic, varnish or paint every two or three years.
